The Climate Forum invited all Spatial Practices staff to a day of conversation around climate and climate justice.
We were joined by Andrew Belfield and the Climate Curriculum who are developing an urban network to support collaborative place-based climate action; Ana Maria Gutierrez from Organizmo who spoke to us about the processes of knowledge exchange and experimentation for social, cultural and ecosystemic regeneration in Colombia; and MOULD a team of architects and academics whose research topic Architecture after Architecture explores how spatial practice might respond in the face of a climate emergency. These conversations were introduced by the soft launch of the Climate Forum where Catalina Mejia Moreno and Mariam Aslam shared an initial proposal as a longer-term project with a series of frameworks and lines of actions that sits across all Spatial Practices programmes at UAL.
